SMOKE LEAK DETECTOR

The Automotive Diagnostic Smoke Leak Detector is designed to quickly and accurately identify leaks in vehicle pipe systems. It is suitable for use on cars, motorcycles, snowmobiles, ATVs, light trucks, and boats.

Preparation

1. Attach the hook to the mounting screw hole.
2. Connect the power cables to the socket on the side of the main unit, matching red to red and black to black.
3. Install the smoke tube onto the air outlet of the main unit.
4. Unscrew the oil cap and fill the unit with the recommended smoke oil. Check the oil level through the viewing window and ensure it remains within the marked range.

Test Operation

1. Connect the clamps to a 12V vehicle battery. The power indicator will illuminate, and the unit will begin generating air pressure.
   • Red clamp: Positive (+)
   • Black clamp: Negative (-)
2. Cover the smoke nozzle on the smoke tube with your fingertip to check the real-time output pressure on the pressure gauge.
3. Turn on the smoke mode switch. The smoke indicator light will illuminate, and the unit will begin producing smoke for leak detection.

Equipment Protection

• The unit is equipped with an automatic overheating protection system.
• After extended operation, the smoke generator may temporarily stop producing smoke to prevent overheating, and the indicator light will turn off.
• Once the temperature returns to a safe level, the equipment can be cooled using the built-in air pump before resuming operation.

Important Safety Notice

• Do not add smoke oil while the equipment is operating.
