Product Overview

The Launch EVP711 EV Battery Pack Module Charging & Discharging Device is a professional battery maintenance solution designed for servicing electric vehicle (EV) battery modules. It enables technicians to safely charge, discharge, and balance battery modules during repair and replacement procedures, helping restore battery performance while improving workshop productivity.

When diagnostic equipment detects damaged or faulty cells within an EV battery pack, replacing the complete module is often more practical than repairing individual cells. After installation of the replacement module, the Launch EVP711 helps condition the battery by charging and equalizing its voltage before it is reinstalled into the vehicle.

For battery balancing applications, the EVP711 can pre-charge the replacement module to bring its voltage closer to the remaining battery pack. Once the voltage levels are aligned, a battery equalizer such as the EVB624 or ELB300 can complete the cell balancing process more efficiently. Using both devices together reduces repair time and helps achieve more accurate battery balancing results.
